How Bluemoon Equestrian collects, uses, and protects personal information.

Who we are

Information we collect

We collect the information you send through our enquiry form and Immersion pre-qualification form: name, age, country of residence, riding standard, email, parent or guardian email where required, telephone number, message text, and a riding video URL if you provide one. We do not collect payment card details on this website.

Why we use it

We use this information to respond to lesson, livery, qualification, and Immersion enquiries; to assess applications; to communicate about bookings and safety; and to meet South African legal record-keeping duties, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Details are shared only with the people who need them to run the yard or the Immersion (including Nicky de Lange and admissions staff) and with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it.

Retention and security

Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to complete the request and any related booking, then for the period required by South African law. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect information against unauthorised access.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or object to processing, by emailing the contacts above. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).

Children

Immersion applicants aged 15–17 must be enrolled by a parent or legal guardian. We treat that guardian’s contact details as the primary contact for the application.
